How does Pieni define petite?
At Pieni, the word "petite" refers to height rather than body size. Many women between 5'0"–5'3" identify as petite because standard garments are consistently off in proportion, even if hems can be altered.
Our pieces are designed for women 5'3" (160 cm) and under, with proportions thoughtfully adjusted throughout, not simply shorter hems.
This includes refined shoulder placement, waist positioning, rise, sleeve length, and overall balance, ensuring each garment fits beautifully with minimal or no alterations required.
How do I know if sleeves and hems will be right for my height and size?
Our designs are made using true petite proportions, so most customers find sleeves and hems fall beautifully with minimal alteration. As individual proportions vary, we recommend checking the garment measurements for each style to ensure the best fit for you.
Do you ship internationally?
We offer international shipping to New Zealand, North America, Canada, Europe, the UK, and Asia. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are calculated at checkout. Please note that orders placed outside of Australia may be subject to duties and taxes, which are determined by your country’s customs regulations. What is your return policy?
We accept returns and exchanges on all full-priced items within 7 days of delivery, as shown by your tracking information.
Sale items are eligible for exchanges or store credit only, and must also be returned within 7 days of receipt. For full details on our process, please see our [Returns & Exchanges Policy].
How do I initiate a return?
To request a refund or exchange, please use our returns portal within 7 days of receiving your order. Enter your order details and follow the prompts to select the item(s) you wish to return.
All items should be in their original condition, unworn, and with swing tags attached. Please pack items as they were received, including all packaging materials. A $15 fee applies for the shipping label for domestic returns.
For Australian orders, drop your package at your nearest Australia Post location.
Once your return has been received, inspected, and approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method. You will receive a confirmation email once the refund is processed. Depending on your payment provider, it may take up to 10 business days to appear in your account.

to initiate your return. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
Will I be refunded for postage or duties and taxes?
All return shipping costs, as well as any duties or taxes for international orders, are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is deemed faulty. Returns that do not meet these conditions may not be accepted and will be returned to you at your expense.
What is Fit Assurance?
Fit assurance is offered to Pieni's mailing list subscribers.
Our complimentary alteration offering, designed to support a more precise fit.
Customers may claim up to $25 on their first order by arranging minor alterations locally and submitting a receipt for reimbursement.
This applies to minor adjustments only and excludes items that have been altered from being returned.
